Like never before, we hear, from both individuals and groups, of the necessity for a concrete vision of the present and the future. Global communications inform us about what is happening, even beyond our private and social confines, continuously demonstrating the multiplicity of problems happening everywhere in the world. We hear of increased insecurity, often the consequence of the self- interested actions of individuals or groups. We all feel that we need heightened security for our own lives, as well as the lives of those closest to us. The future can still bring solutions if individuals apply themselves. For these reasons, it is fundamental to keep up an ongoing reflection and debate on the ethics of personal and collective actions, with regard to all aspects and dimensions of life. It is through personal and shared behaviors that we can change the future.
